Like many of you, my story has not been an easy one. From a traumatic and chaotic childhood, to marrying young and raising a large family, to experiencing profound heartbreak at age 33, my journey has been marked by both deep wounds and unexpected grace. Yet through it all, it has become a story of redemption.
Hi, I'm Alex (short for Alexandra). I'm a wife of 33 years, a mother of six daughters, and a grandmother. Most of my adult life has been spent as a stay-at-home mom, though I've held various jobs along the way. Today, I love walking alongside people as they discover healing, freedom, and a deeper connection with God while I continue enjoying family life and caring for our many animals.
My healing journey began in earnest in 2016, nearly ten years after becoming a Christian. Although I was faithfully attending church, reading my Bible, praying, and serving, I sensed God inviting me into something deeper.
At the time, we lived in Colorado Springs and our youngest daughter had started school. I enrolled in Healing Journey, a 29-week intensive discipleship and healing program offered through His Healing Light Ministries. I completed the program twice and, through that process — as well as seasons of counseling — began a long journey of healing from complex trauma, sexual abuse, betrayal, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, people-pleasing, performance-based worth, and other deep wounds.
In 2025, my husband and I relocated to the East Coast to be closer to his aging parents. While that move closed one chapter, it opened another.
I completed coach training through Alive and Free Consulting, where I further developed my skills in listening, asking thoughtful questions, and supporting others in their growth and healing. I have also chosen to continue my education and am pursuing a degree in Addictions Counseling.
Today, I work with a very limited number of coaching clients, walking alongside them as they discover the healing, freedom, and abundant life God intended for them.
